K-9 Education Seminars
Salem Animal Rescue League is now offering training seminars for the public. These seminars are free and will be taught by trainer Jo Cefalo. All seminars take place at our shelter location on 4 SARL Drive (344 South Broadway for GPS) in Salem, NH. We have created an event page on facebook for upcoming training dates, and they are also included below as well as on our events calendar. If you plan to attend, please RSVP to Jo via email at

Loose Leash: This seminar will provide you with the tools to teach your dog how to walk on a long leash without "pulling". It is the precursor to the "heel" command and will make your walking experience so much more enjoyable!
Did you know? Training your dog not only teaches them appropriate behavior, but can also build a stronger bond between owner and pet!
